Launch of OnlineNI website

A new government website providing links to 1800 public services and government departments.

www.onlineni.net A new government website www.onlineni.net has been launched to provide one-stop access to information on government and public services – everything from advice on benefits to information on how to tax your car.

OnlineNI is the result of commitments made in the Programme for Government to develop a government portal on the internet to provide citizens and businesses with a single electronic point of access to government information and services. It is maintained by the Central IT Unit at OFMDFM .

Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State, Ian Pearson, MP, said “OnlineNI is a user friendly, citizen focused website giving easy access to government and public services and information ”.

The site describes itself as “large linking” and give access to 1800 website.
