Announcing a new website for community based learning, www.callnetni.org.
Community organisations throughout Northern Ireland have formed a new consortium for learning, known as Callnet. Callnet is a website providing direction to community based learning in Northern Ireland. The site is in the final stages of development and will be launched to the public in May and June.
The consortium extends an open invitation to attend one of the launch events of the website, www.callnetni.org at:
NICVA, Belfast: 26 May, 11.30am
STEP, Dungannon: 1 June, 11.00am
Springfarm and DCA, Antrim: 3 June, 11.00am
Lunch will be served at all events and information will be available on how to become a Callnet Partner. The website provides opportunities to advertise courses and to search for learning opportunities.
The founding Partners are: Castlederg and District Community Development Association, CNP, Drumquin Enterprises, Kilkeel Community Association, Mount St Michael’s Primary School, NICVA, NIVDA, Parkanaur College, Parkside Community Association, RCN, Springfarm and District Community Association, STEP, Ulster People’s College, WEA NI and Women’s TEC.
