Zoe Anderson from NICVA announces a new policy forum for women in the voluntary and community sector and invites you to attend its first meeting.

The Women’s Policy Forum is the first in a planned series of issue based forums to support policy development within the voluntary and community sector.

NICVA will facilitate and convene a group of representatives from organisations interested in keeping up to date on policy in this specific area of work and debating issues with their peers on a regular basis (possibly quarterly).

The forum will also be closely linked with the future development of NICVA’s Policy Manifesto .

The Forum hopes to be a fairly informal arrangement and we would like to keep the membership open to anyone who feels they might be able to contribute and/or benefit. However we would be grateful if you could contact us to express your interest in joining.

Agenda

We would also like your suggestions for agenda items; the policy issues that are being dealt with by the women’s sector at the present time and those you feel will be significant in the future.

If you would like to register for the first meeting, please contact Zoe Anderson before Tuesday 30 November 2004:
