NICVA's latest members survey shows a big demand for training and information on governance, skills and policy development.
You ask, we deliver …
Thanks to all of you who completed this year’s Members Survey and congratulations to Belfast Exposed, the lucky winner of a laptop in our prize draw.
The survey found that our members particularly want information and training in Governance, Skills Development and Policy Development and on the back of this we have has developed a calendar which offers training in Collaborative Working; Full Cost Recovery; Recruitment and Selection; Fundraising; Media Skills; Lobbying and more. The Calendar meets many of your other training requests including Basic Finance skills, Risk Management, IT and Communication.
NICVA also has a range of ongoing training and information including:
- Finance We offer training on VAT, PAYE, Budgeting, Fraud and SORP. The website has a comprehensive range of online guides and the next Members’ Information Session on 9 October 2007 will be dedicated to Human Resources and Finance issues.
- Governance and charity advice NICVA’s Charity Advice pages have up to date information on the reform in Northern Ireland. The Governance and Charity Unit offers free drafting of Memorandum and Articles of Association and encourages organisations to take the training on this.
