Environmental debate at new forum

Attend the first meeting of the new Environmental Policy Forum at NICVA on 23 May 2005.

An Environmental Policy Forum has been established to support policy activity in the voluntary and community sector.

Northern Ireland Environment Link (NIEL) and NICVA are behind the new group which aims to provide the opportunity for organisations to exchange knowledge, ideas and skills.

The first meeting will take place at NICVA on 23 May at 10.30am.

Organisations with an interest in developing and debating environmental policy with their peers on a regular basis - possibly quarterly - should register to attend the first meeting of the forum. Not all meetings will be in Belfast. The forum will initially be chaired by NIEL.

  1. Indicate your interest in the forum. To register, contact Cathy Breslin on Icon of a telephone 028 9087 7777 or Icon of an envelope cathy.breslin@nicva.org. It will meet informally and membership is open to anyone who feels they might be able to contribute and/or benefit.
