Governance skills need updating?

NICVA’s experienced trainers can provide short practical training sessions to voluntary and community organisations on a range of governance and charity advice issues. The sessions will help your organisation with a range areas such as

• Managing and assessing risk
• Committee and trustee responsibilities
• The duties of the director of a charitable company
• Charity law reform
• Company law reform
• Setting up a company limited by guarantee
• Understanding your governing document

These two to three hour courses are interactive and can be delivered at your own premises. They allow participants to ask questions throughout and are accompanied by comprehensive notes on the subject.
