NICVA has released a draft of its new Policy Manifesto. This major publication by the Council will have far-reaching implications for the sector.
After a series of meetings - 23 in total - on all the subject areas covered in the latest policy manifesto,
a draft is now ready. (PDF, 165KB)
The recommendations in this draft have been discussed in the 23 themed sessions and by a special subgroup of the NICVA Executive. Now is your chance to comment on the full draft. To do this collectively and in a balanced way a half day conference is being held on 16 October at 2pm at NICVA. Any proposed changes will be discussed at the conference to ensure there is general endorsement - this is to safeguard against any individual voice having an undue influence against the will of others.
If you want to propose changes to the draft please use the
Proposal / Amendment Form (Word, 27 KB) and send it to Cathy Breslin by 13 October at
cathy.breslin@nicva.org. If you would like to register to attend on the 16 Oct please also contact Cathy.
