Questions to the First and deputy First Minister
Anna Lo (South Belfast) will ask what plans are in place for the administration of funding for ethnic minority communities under the new Cohesion, Sharing and Integration Strategy.
South Down MLA Willie Clarke will ask the Ministers what plans are in place to progress the three interlinked pillars of sustainable development without any new sustainable development strategy.
Claire McGill (West Tyrone) will ask what plans the Ministers have to minimise the impact of increasing fuel costs on families with low incomes.
North Belfast MLA Fred Cobain will ask what consideration has been given to the creation of poverty action zones, with specific targets for specified areas.
Gregory Campbell (East Londonderry) will ask what annual resources would be required for any reconstituted Civic Forum.
South Down MLA John McCallister will ask what discussions have been held with the Minister of Education to improve childcare provision.
Barry McElduff (West Tyrone) will ask for an update on establishing new mechanisms for hearing the views of civil society and increasing participatory democracy.
Upper Bann MLA John O’Dowd will ask what steps are being taken to promote anti-sectarianism over the summer period.
Questions to the Minister of the Environment
North Antrim MLA Daithà McKay will ask the Minister what steps she will take to reduce the use of plastic bags.
Kieran McCarthy (Strangford) will ask the Minister what progress has been made on the establishment of an Environmental Protection Agency.
North Down MLA Stephen Farry will also ask what action has been taken to establish an independent Environmental Protection Agency following the motion passed by the Assembly on 25 September 2007.
Questions to the Minister of Finance and Personnel
Foyle MLA Martina Anderson will ask the Minister how his department is pursuing social objectives through its public procurement policies.
Alastair Ross (East Antrim) will ask the Minister what plans are in place for the 2009-2010 budget process.
