NICVA warns of worries in the sector

On 19 June the Assembly’s Social Development Committee will hold its weekly meeting at NICVA’s premises, 61 Duncairn Gardens, Belfast. NICVA will make a presentation to the DSD Committee on funding for the sector, as it has already done with the Finance and Personnel Committee.

Enough is Enough on poverty… again

In 2004/5 more than 200 voluntary and community organisations supported the Enough Is Enough campaign which called for an effective strategy to end poverty in Northern Ireland. EU survey shows good practice

As a result of President Barroso’s visit to the NI Assembly in May 2007, the European Commission established a special taskforce on Northern Ireland. The taskforce - made up of key EC officials and their Northern Ireland counterparts - is currently examining the extent to which Northern Ireland has been involved in EU programmes and policies and identifying examples of best practice.
