Men's policy forum tackles equality

Another successful Members' Day

Joint Forum hosts training event

A lunchtime seminar at NICVA, facilitated by the Joint Government/ Voluntary and Community Sector Forum will explore the differences between working in the public and voluntary/community sectors through the experiences of two speakers each offering "a view from the other side."

The policy fora aim to enhance the capacity of organisations to make policy responses, coordinate policy information, participate in policy development, and influence decision making.

NICVA warns of worries in the sector

On 19 June the Assembly’s Social Development Committee will hold its weekly meeting at NICVA’s premises, 61 Duncairn Gardens, Belfast. NICVA will make a presentation to the DSD Committee on funding for the sector, as it has already done with the Finance and Personnel Committee.

DSD support services research released

The Department for Social Development has released its research into the work of support organisations within the voluntary and community sector, originally completed by Deloitte in February 2007.
