NJC Scales 2007/08

Please note there has been some confusion over the cost of living award of 3.43%.

This was awarded against Point 4 rather than Scale 4 and therefore will not appear on this version of the scales.

The latest local government pay round has resulted in a cost of living increase equivalent to 2.475% for 2007-08 (effective from 1 April 2007).

These are not yet available and are unlikely to be published for some time.

The Unions have lodged a pay claim for an increase of 6% or 50p an hour (whichever is the greater). Local Government Employers have offered 2.2%. New scales will not be available until these negotiations are complete. NICVA is not involved in these negotiations in any way but we will publish the updated salary scales as soon as we receive them.
