East Belfast Partnership (EBP) is a broad based social partnership with community, statutory, political and business members who are dedicated to the regeneration of East Belfast.  The organisation was formed in June 1995 with the responsibility to develop regeneration and address social disadvantage.

 The structure of the Partnership was amended In May 2005 to separate out it’s social economy activities from the day to day remit of the Partnership. EBP provides a unique role to develop joined-up working with a range of stakeholder organisations; acting as a catalyst to the regeneration of the area. 

The specific mission or purpose of the Partnership is:         ‘To maximise the contribution East Belfast makes to the development of Belfast as an attractive and prosperous European city’
