"The Link seeks to stimulate, deliver, support and link community development action that values and develops the potential of all people, as an expression of God's love."

The Main strategic objectives are:

- to provide a safe space where the young people of the community of Ards can access a range of activites and resources to enable them to develop as responsible and active citizens.

To support adults suffering as a result of long-term addiction to alcohol and/or other drugs, to reduce self harm, promote sobriety and maintain independence.

To continue to develop a holistic approach to promoting good relations in all of The Link's activities, and to build the organisation's capacity to deliver an effective community relations programme.

To provide appropriate resources and support to address identified need of parents/carers and older people - the promotion volunteering and a positive volunteering experience.
