To relieve elderly people in Northern Ireland by the provision of reminiscence based activities as a means of improving their quality of life. 3.2 To relieve persons with dementia and their families through education, training and support using reminiscence and other techniques and thereby alleviate their distress and suffering throughout Northern Ireland. 3.3 To advance the education of the public in the history of Northern Ireland by recording, preserving and disseminating the historical memories of the living in Northern Ireland and by contributing to archives and other materials for the public benefit.
