Mission
TIDY Northern Ireland's mission is to inspire all sectors of society to take responsibility for creating cleaner, greener and more sustainable commuities.
TIDY Northern Ireland is supporting local authorities in tackling environmental crime through enforcement training, conferences and organising the Northern Ireland Environmental Quality Forum. TIDY Northern Ireland also runs volunteer programmes such as the national BIG Spring Clean Campaign and Coast Care, managing the international Eco Schools programme and operating a number of beach award programmes including the international Blue Flag for clean beaches and marinas in NI. TIDY Northern Ireland has existed in one form or another for over 40 years and was formerly part of Keep Britain Tidy previously known as ENCAMS.
