Collaborate more effectively
NICVA is set to deliver the first session under the new CollaborationNI service - a practical guide to collaborative working. Additionally, a three day, high powered development programme - Leading Beyond Authority: using influence to make collaboration work - is open for booking.
CollaborationNI is funded under Building Change Trust to support charities in collaborating more effectively and is delivered by the partnership of NICVA, C03 and Stellar Leadership.
A practical guide to collaborative working, the first session on 11 May, will provide participants with the opportunity to learn about various types of collaborative working arrangements, as well as offering practical guidance on all stages of collaborative working. In addition, the course will look at legal issues, examine case studies and develop a process which will support collaborative working.
The training is for any charitable organisation, in particular senior staff or trustees who are considering exploring collaborative working options.
Beginning on 18 May, Leading Beyond Authority: using influence to make collaboration work is a three day, high powered development programme based on research and experience and is delivered by Stellar's team of leadership specialists.
Years of experience in collaboration suggest that some things improve success - chief among them is strong leadership based on influencing skills.
This three day programme looks at the broad areas of development a leader needs to work on to drive successful collaboration. The remaining two sessions will take place on 8 and 21 June.
Further information on the individual sessions, together with booking information, is available by clicking on the title links, or by contacting Leeann Kelly, Programme Coordinator on 028 9087 7777 or by email at leeann.kelly@nicva.org
