Minister seeks views on DSD draft Budget and Concordat

Alex Attwood MLA, Minister for Social Development, has organised a series of meetings designed to discuss the impact of the draft DSD Budget with voluntary and community organisations. Each of the meetings will also include a consultation on the draft Concordat on relationships between government and the voluntary and community sector.

A six week period for the submission of comments on this consultation document will run from 13 January 2011 to 23 February 2011.

Respondents are asked to submit their views as early as possible during this period to allow as much time as possible for consideration.

The following dates have been arranged to facilitate regional consultation workshops  

  • 26 Jan 2011    Clinton Centre, Enniskillen: - 10am to 12.30pm. (Minister to speak at 10.00am. Concordat consultation from 11.00am - 12.30pm)
  • 9 Feb 2011      Ballybot House, Newry: - 10am to 12.30pm. (Concordat consultation 10.00am - 11.30am, Minister to speak at 12.00pm)
  • 10 Feb 2011    Spectrum Centre, Belfast: - 9.30am to 2.30pm (Minister attending 9.30am, Concordat consultation 1.30pm - 2.30pm)
  • 2 March 2011   Clooney Hall, L'Derry: - 10.30am to 1.00pm
