Your input needed for State of the Sector VI
Over the next few days, the State of the Sector VI survey will be arriving at every voluntary and community organisation in Northern Ireland. We would be grateful if you would take a few moments to complete the survey and return it along with a set of your most recent annual accounts by 31 May 2011.
It's time again for the NICVA State of the Sector survey, in which the value and importance of your contribution can't be overstated. Over the past 15 years, State of the Sector has become the main way in which we inform government, funders and the media of the scale and impact of the voluntary and community sector in Northern Ireland.
For this sixth edition, the focus will again be on showing the contribution and impact each part of the voluntary and community sector makes to society individually, as well as collectively. We want to look at the different sub-sectors that make up the voluntary and community sector, see where the funding comes from and how many people are employed. In addition we are keen to find out what you anticipate as being the main threats to your organisation over the next 12 months.
We know this targeted information will allow the sector to engage more effectively with government, funders and the media when demonstrating the relevance of the voluntary and community sector to society in Northern Ireland.
No matter how small or large your organisation is, we need to hear from you.
NICVA can do none of this without your help. If you receive a questionnaire during May or June, we would ask you to complete it as fully as possible and return it with a complete set of your last annual accounts (if applicable). A FREEPOST envelope will accompany each questionnaire.
We would also appreciate it if you could inform us if your organisation is no longer active so that we can ensure our database is up to date.
If you do not receive a questionnaire through the post you can download a copy below.
