BPW is membership-focused, printmaking studio which provides a fully equipped and purpose-built studio with year-round access for a capacity of 100 artists.
A charitable company limited by guarantee, BPW was established in 1977 to welcome artists interested in the practice and promotion of the art of printmaking.In all our programmes we work to champion traditional and experimental approaches to printmaking and in so doing, develop our members as inspirational and exciting inovators in the contemporary art scene both nationally and internationally.
Services
BPW offers an extensive programme of practical courses, alongside open studios and demonstrations, designed to enhance public knowledge, understanding and appreciation of printmaking. BPW also provides opportunities for residencies, exhibitions, skills and professional advancement, to support the income, wellbeing and livelihood of its artists and the communities they work with.
Opening hours
Public access to the studio is Monday - Friday, 9.30 - 5.00. when staff are present.
