Caledon Regeneration Partnership

Caledon Regeneration Partnership

In the heart of the village is Caledon Regeneration Partnership – a partnership which we formed in 1996 which comprises of representatives from the local community, Dungannon and South Tyrone Borough Council and the Caledon Estates Company.

Our work promotes the conservation and protection of the village’s built and natural heritage – we have successfully undertaken major restoration projects. Another important element of our work is the development of community initiatives encouraging community harmony and understanding.

We also have modern, corporate facilities for companies, organisations and individuals wishing to hold an event in a place of historical significance.

Services

The Courthouse in the village of Caledon is an impressive Georgian building with its own clock tower and is once again the focal hub of the village. It boasts a large reception area which is used as an information point for the community and tourists. It also has modern commercial offices and a boardroom for hire.

The community in Caledon also enjoy the village allotments where many families enjoy growing their own vegetables.

The Beam Engine, on Mill Street, is an impressive example of Ireland’s industrial archaeology and is unique in that it is the last remaining housed Beam Engine in Ireland.

Opening hours

Our reception is manned Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 9am-1pm. If you call outside of these hours please leave a message and Sandra will come back to you.
