Cancer Fund for Children

Cancer Fund for Children

Cancer Fund for Children is a registered charity, which offers practical, emotional and financial support to children and young people up to and including the age of 24, who are living with cancer, and their families.

Three children, teenagers or young adults are diagnosed with cancer every week in Northern Ireland, leaving three more families to cope with a level of devastation that is almost impossible for most of us to comprehend.

Based at Curlew Pavilion within Belfast Harbour Estate, and with a satellite office in the North West, we are able to extend our services to every part of Northern Ireland.

Services

Cancer Fund for Children exists to achieve the best outcomes for all children, teenagers and young adults up to the age of 24, whose lives are devastated by cancer. We do this by raising funds locally to finance a range of high quality holistic support and therapeutic services focused on the assessed needs of children, young people and their families throughout Northern Ireland.

Our services are designed to ensure that children and young people who experience cancer in their lives are supported to thrive physically, emotionally, socially and educationally in order to reach their full potential in later life. In partnership with other agencies we support the development of responsive, effective public services, which are informed by the voice of the child.
