Care for the Family
Care for the Family
Care for the Family is a national charity which aims to promote strong family life - working in the areas of marriage, parenting and bereavement support. We believe that every family should have somewhere to turn for support in both the good times and when family life is challenging.
Our work is motivated by Christian compassion, and our resources and support are available to everyone, of any faith or none.
Services
We provide parenting, relationship and bereavement support through our events, resources, courses, training and volunteer networks.
Rapport Workshops
- Developing Closeness in Marriage which concentrates on developing communication skills between couples and helps them to discover ways they can maintain a strong and healthy relationship.
- Resolving Everyday Issues which is intended to help develop creative skills for handling the tough times that come to us all by giving 'keys' to manage potentially difficult areas in a relationship, before they become a problem.
Support for single parents - contact the Lisburn office to find out more about the Single Parent Network.
Bereaved Parents Network - offers support to parents in handling their grief following the death of a child. It also seeks to help their friends, relatives and churches to find ways of providing the support they need.
