Centre for Effective Services
The Centre for Effective Services connects research, policy and practice to improve outcomes for communities, children and young people across the island of Ireland. Part of a new generation of intermediary organisations, CES is a not for profit that helps communities, children and young people thrive.
CES employs a small multidisciplinary team with experience in a variety of sectors, including health, children, young people and families, community development, education, knowledge and communications and project management. Staff are based in our offices in Belfast and Dublin.
Services
CES provides technical and practical support to organisations, services and consortia, to help them improve the outcomes of their work.
The main aims of our work are:
- To influence policy and systemic change
- To champion innovative design and service delivery
- To build knowledge, skills and capacity
- Promote partnerships and collaboration
- To develop CES organisational effectiveness.

Our offices are open from 9am until 5.30pm, Monday to Friday.
