Kingdom Youth Club

Kingdom Youth Club is a Youth project aimed at 5-25 year olds. The aim of the project is to provide youth with a social, learning and community experience. We seek to make pathways into education and employment by offering accredited courses and learning opportunities and by providing diversionary activities to keep young people from anti social behaviour. The focus of KYC is to heighten personal confidence and thus elevate the educational and employment aspirations of the young people. KYC is open seven days a week, our membership is 300+ with an average attendance of 50+. As well as the core youth, recreational, and training activities at KYC, we also play host to Kilkeel Knights Basketball Club, local after schools and pre-school groups, outreach to unattached youths and young adults and take referrals from Youth Justice Agency and Probation Service and from back to work programmes administered by local SRC and Jobs & Benefits Office.
