Newington Credit Union Limited was established in 1967 to help people improve the quality of life of members through saving and credit facilities. This is a member owned, not for profit organisation, with a voluntary board of directors. End of year surplus goes back to members through dividend and interest rebate.
Services
We provide a safe place to save, low cost loans, loan protection, life savings and death benefit insurance at no cost to the member. We also provide a foreign exchange service, paypoint and many youth services including school savings schemes.
Young people have the opportunity to avail of our bursary award scheme in which ten young people each year are awarded a bursary worth £400 for up to three years.
