North West Community Network

North-West Community Network is a community development, membership-led organisation that provides support to the Community & Voluntary sector in the North-West by way of advocacy and representation at various levels, support in terms of dissemination of public policy information, and interpretation and a focal point for the Community & Voluntary sector in the area.

The Network is committed to societal change by fostering the underlying principles of community development and creating a fully inclusive and participative democracy. It has built a reputation as an organisation which makes social and economic policy understandable and meaningful to groups and which can draw together the diverse ideas within the Sector in the North-West to form a coherent response to Government and its agencies.

Services

Network membership entitles your group to a range of practical services such as:

  • Regular e-bulletins and newsletters, with updates on policy, consultation, training, events and comment on sectoral issues;
  • Access to the most up-to-date contact database for community & voluntary sector organisations in the North-West;
  • Invites to all Network events including workshops, seminars and conferences;
  • Voting rights on Network policy;
  • Election rights to the Network's Executive Committee (see enclosed Membership Invoice).
