South Antrim Community Network

South Antrim Community Network provides community development support to communities within the new council structures of Antrim and Newtownabbey and Mid and East Antrim. SACN does this by determining and responding to the key issues impacting on the lives of communities, and rolling out programmes as an action on anti-poverty. SACN is also committed to tackling the impact of poverty and economic crisis through commitment to suicide prevention and addressing the determinants of suicide. SACN also rolls out the MARA (Maximising Access to grants and benefits in Rural Areas) to the most vulnerable individuals within our communities. SACN is funded by the Department of Agriculture Rural Development and the Public Health Agency.
