Assembly Elections 2011
With the Assembly elections on 5 May we have put together a full list of and some contact details for the Assembly candidates. The list is in Excel format and can be downloaded below.
This election will have 218 candidates vying for 108 seats.
The main parties have put forward a candidate in each of the constituencies, bar the UUP in Foyle;
- Alliance 22
- DUP 44
- SDLP 28
- Sinn Fein 40
- UUP 29
This election will also be contested by:
- The Green Party 6
- People Before Profit Alliance 4
- Workers Party 4
- Socialist Party 3
A number of parties will be running candidates for the first time ever
- Traditional Unionist Voice 12
- UKIP 6
- BNP 3
There are also 15 Independents contesting the election, including three current MLAs, Dawn Purvis, Alan McFarland and David McClarty.
