Advice Note 10: Collections for Charities and Donors
While NICVA would encourage everyone to give in a planned and tax-effective manner, spontaneous giving also has a valuable role to play in supporting charities and other good causes.
This note outlines the different types of collections, the legal requirements relating to collections in Northern Ireland, good practice procedures for collections, and some guidelines for individuals who wish to donate to charities.
