A Guide to Good Employment

This ten-chapter guide provides practical information and guidance on employment of staff from recruitment through to termination of employment.

NICVA is currently reviewing this guide in line with statutory changes. The review will take account of legislative changes which were not included in the guide when it was published in 2000. If you are using the guide please bear this in mind.

Contact susan.lavery@nicva.org if you have any concerns about changes to and observing statutory procedures. Also see NICVA handbook. Please note we are currently reviewing the handbook and it has not yet been updated in line with changes to the working families legislation, which was introduced in April 2007.
