This month's round up
European network
In the news, NICVA has signed up to the European Network of National Associations (ENNA) which will work on issues of common concern to civil society across the EU and candidate countries.
Community Leadership Programe
Also this month we are launching the second year of the Community Leadership Programme, in conjunction with the International Fund for Ireland (IFI). The first recruitment was immensely successful - see inside to read how some of the participants are getting on.
Packed events calendar
September sees so much happening for us at NICVA that we've added a new 'at-a-glance' calendar to help you keep track of all our events. From training courses, to poverty in the media to managing assets, there's a jam packed programme to choose from.
Consultations
Look out for a number of consultations this month including The Northern Ireland Multiple Deprivation Measure 2005 (also known as the Noble Indicators), the use of dormant bank account funds and the Local Government Finance Bill.
Competition
NICVA is offering GrantTracker free for a year to one lucky organisation or person who creates a profile and signs up to the Fundraising Information Group on the all new CommunityNI website. Want to talk fundraising and be in with a chance to win? Visit www.communityni.org now.
Makeover
