This month's round up
As you will see from this month’s issue of nicvanews there is a lot to look forward to over the next few weeks. One of the most exciting events lined up is the Centre for Economic Empowerment’s inaugural economic conference centred on ‘Creating the good economy’. With several high profile speakers attending, this event should prove a really interesting and informative session. In addition to the conference CEE is running a masterclass series over the coming months aiming to inform and promote debate within the voluntary and community sector on economic issues (see enclosed brochure for futher details).
This month’s issue also brings you up to date on work carried out over the summer. We have updates on the CutsWatchNI project, the Community Leadership Programme and charity law as well as a report on the visit of Minister for Social Development, Nelson McCausland, to NICVA in September.
Finally, don’t forget to check out the various events and training opportunities on offer, including the next members’ information session focussing on the hot topic of managing information for communication, calculation (measuring and evaluating) and complying with legislation.
