Citizen participation portal “Your Say Belfast” recently launched by Belfast City Council
Belfast City Council have recently launched a new online citizen engagement platform, Your Say Belfast with the aim of enabling easier access to the policy development process.
Encouraging discussions and conversations on a range of topics, the platform aims to use a several new engagement tools, including discussion forums, quick polls, mapping tools and story-telling, to engage with all citizens on a variety of topics.
At present, users of the platform will be able to feed into three initial engagement opportunities, with the hope of more being added as they arise, including “VCSE Sector engagement in community planning”.
Users can engage on behalf of an organisation, a business or even as an individual. The platform is a good opportunity for you to have your say on public policies and strategies that impact your life.
