Consultation on Draft Statutory Guidance for the Operation of Community Planning Launched
The Department of the Environment has launched a consultation on its Draft Statutory Guidance for the Operation of Community Planning Local Government Act
The purpose of the proposed guidance is to provide councils and their community planning partners with further detail on the implementation of the legislation and to explain the terms of the new duty.
The guidance covers issues such as roles and responsibilities, membership of partnership panels, structure and governance of partnerships.
The consultation document can be accessed via the departmental website or can be downloaded below.
The deadline for responses is 9th March 2015.
