NICVA is recruiting an ECONOMIC ANALYST  Full-time, fixed term 3 years post.  Salary equivalent to NJC points 29-31 (£24,646 - £26,276). APPLICATIONS FOR SECONDMENT ARE ALSO WELCOME. 

 

NICVA, the Northern Ireland Council for Voluntary Action, is a membership and representative umbrella body for the entire voluntary and community sector of Northern Ireland. NICVA’s mission is to achieve progressive social change by tackling disadvantage through voluntary action and community development.

ECONOMIC ANALYST CENTRE FOR ECONOMIC EMPOWERMENT (REF: EA2’12) Full-time, fixed term 3 years postSalary equivalent to NJC points 29-31 (£24,646 - £26,276. Candidates will normally be appointed on the first point of the scale).

The post holder will work in the NICVA Centre for Economic Empowerment project. The Centre for Economic Empowerment is an economic observatory and skills development project for the voluntary and community sector in Northern Ireland. The post offers an opportunity for the holder to undertake analysis and research on the Northern Ireland economy and disseminate this information to a wide range of stakeholders.

Applicants must have a minimum of 2 years working experience to include work in areas of economics, public finance/social policy. The post holder will also hold a third level qualification in a relevant discipline e. Economics, Political Economy or similar.
