ECONOMIC RESEARCH OFFICER (REF: ERO’12)
NICVA is recruiting an Economic Research Officer. This is a full-time, fixed term 3 year post. Salary equivalent to NJC scale point 29-34 (£24,646 - £28,636).
The post holder will work in the NICVA Centre for Economic Empowerment project. The Centre for Economic Empowerment is an economic observatory and skills development project for the voluntary and community sector in Northern Ireland.
This post offers an opportunity for the holder to develop and acquire research on the Northern Ireland economy and budget and disseminate this information to a wide range of stakeholders.
Applicants must have a minimum of two years' working experience to include work in areas of economic/social policy. The post holder will also hold a third level qualification in a relevant discipline eg Economics, Political Economy, Politics and/or Social Policy or similar.
