Colin Community Counselling is based in the Colin Area.  Established in 2003, they are a BACP Accredited Counselling Service providing individual counselling to enable people to manage their emotional health and well being needs.

Our service is available for people living in Poleglass, Twinbrook, Lagmore, the greater Colin area and Old Warren, Lisburn.

Our vision is that the people of the Colin Area will have access to a Counselling Service that supports their emotional health and well being and contributes to enabling them to develop their full potential.

We offer Individual Counselling for which there is no charge and is provided by fully qualified and experienced Counsellors. Services include play therapy, adolescents counselling for ages 11-15 years, counselling for young people aged 16-25, and adult counselling for ages 25 and over.

Counselling improves your self-knowledge, well being, health, and clarity of mind. It offers the opportunity to improve your life and comes with an overall feeling of positive change that manifests into a more fulfilling and productive life. Counselling will make you feel more inspired, motivated, and organized. You will be ready to tackle anything!

We are also at the forefront of Suicide Prevention in the Colin area, with the Colin Suicide Prevention Worker based here.  We’ve produced two booklets – distributed to 9000 households – as well as engagement on a community and statutory level and maintaining the visibility of the Suicide Prevention message in the area.

Open Monday – Thursday 9am – 5pm, we invite referrals from GPs, community groups and individuals.  The sessions can be delivered in one of 6 centres across the BHSCT and SEHSCT areas.
