The blues were well and truly kicked off at An Creagán on Thursday 26 and Friday 27 January, when 13 participants from 9 different organisations funded under the Reaching Communities NI Big Lottery Scheme came together.

The First Line Management modules covered over the two days included

  • Time management
  • teambuilding
  • leadership
  • presentation skills and
  • managing change.

Participants will take the remaining modules of the course over the next 8 weeks, including an online tutorial designed to give additional support to the managing change module.

An Creagán itself has received Reaching Communities funding for one of their programmes.

One participant was seen tweeting: "Fab Residential! Great trainers, great group + GREAT food! Can't move now tho.. But excited about the course! :)" and we hope the enthusiasm continues throughout the course.
