Forming Partnerships for Peace Funding

The new PEACE Programme worth over €229m will provide support to projects that contribute towards the promotion of greater levels of peace and reconciliation.

The funding will place a strong emphasis on promoting cross-community relations and understanding in order to create a more cohesive society.

Applications can be submitted from a wide range of organisations including Local Authorities; Voluntary and Community Sector Organisations and Public Bodies.

The PEACE Programme has four key priority areas: Shared Education, Children & Young People, Shared Spaces & Services and Building Positive Relations at a Local Level.

How CollaborationNI can help build Effective Partnerships

CollaborationNI  is a partnership made up of NICVA, Stellar Leadership and CO3.  It was commissioned and independently funded by Building Change Trust in 2011 with the primary purpose of assisting voluntary, community and social enterprise organisations work effectively in collaboration.

CollaborationNI  provides an independent, honest-broker service at no cost to organisations.  From its establishment it has supported over 900 organisations in the voluntary, community and social enterprise sectors to work in collaboration.  This programme has a proven track record of effectively forming alliances, building consortia and supporting mergers in Northern Ireland.
