Great discount for NICVA members on NICVA training

NICVA offers a wide range of training and development opportunities for board members, volunteers and staff in the voluntary and community sector.

Since March this year we have been offering online ILM courses -  ILM level 5 Certificate in Coaching and Mentoring and ILM level 3 Awards in Leadership and Management. So far 40 people have completed this online training and are working towards their qualification. You get 2 months access to a wealth of online resources and accreditation support from NICVA. We currently have some places left for August and September so book now if you are interested. The beauty of the ILM level 3 Award in leadership and management is that you can pick the modules that best suit your development needs from a list of 25 options, including "managing workplace projects" and "managing and leading a team effectively".  For the first time we are now offering our newly designed  ILM level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management as an online course with action learning sets and assignment support provided by NICVA. We have been a TQUK registered centre since 2014 and are pleased to offer the TQUK level 3 award in Training and Education again in September. This course is aimed at those who are developing and delivering training and would like to gain a recognised qualification as well as increasing their confidence, skills and knowledge.

Our HR series is back for those that manage staff, to increase your knowledge and skills in absence management, grievance and discipline and managing staff. The sessions give you the opportunity to discuss real issues and find practical solutions and techniques to improve your practice.

There are also a number of sessions focused on fundraising and thinking about how we raise income in our organisations such as Preparing to tender, Success in funding applications and Developing a fundraising strategy.
