Influencing, Lobbying and Campaigning under COVID - PAF Webinar Tuesday 8th December 2020, 2- 3pm approx
As COVID continues to dominate all our lives, both home and work, in this webinar we explore the impact of the pandemic on the VCSE sectors capacity to inform and influence public policy & decision making on key societal issues.
The pandemic has laid bare the impact of inequality in all its forms across our society, and the role of the sector in highlighting these issues and advocating on behalf of those most impacted is now more vital than ever.
Hosted by NICVA Public Affairs Forum, this online event will bring together policy and public affairs leads from across the sector to share insight, information and expertise.
We will hear from a varied panel of Policy and Public Affairs advocates sharing their experiences and reflections as to how their organisations are engaging with policy and decision makers at this time in regard to the COVID 19 crisis and wider policy priorities and concerns.
We will also hopefully have the opportunity to explore practically how we can better work together collectively to inform and influence public policy, decision making and debate in this ‘new environment’ and beyond.
