New Department of Health update report on progress with IHRD programme implemetation recommendations
The Department of Health has just published its latest update report on progress made in implementing the wide-ranging recommendations of the Inquiry into Hyponatraemia-Related Deaths (IHRD).
The report provides details on how the Department has been working with a wide range of stakeholders across nine workstreams to implement the IHRD recommendations, including its recommendations to introduce a legal Duty of Candour and a culture of Being Open in all organisations delivering health and social care services. This has included engagement with voluntary and community organisations involved in helath and social care service delivery.
