Our training calendar for October 2015 - March 2016 is now available.

We have designed a variety of training courses in response to current and future challenges that our sector is facing, all aimed at improving your effectiveness in the workplace. The courses cover a wide range of subjects such as governance, fundraising, management and communication.

As ever we are offering our accredited programmes such as the TQUK Level 3 Award in Education and Training and the ILM Level 5 Diplomas in Leadership and Management and Coaching and Mentoring. This year we have some new  accredited programmes on offer having developed bundles of  level 3 awards in HR, Team leading and Personal Development which is currently being developed. Research from ILM found that 93% of managers perform better in their jobs and 90% of managers are better at motivating people after completing an ILM qualification. Undertaking an accredited course can prove to your employer that you have the knowledge, skills and ability to take on new responsibility.

NICVA training gives you the opportunity to network with and learn from others in the voluntary and community sector and all of our training sessions allow time for practical activities and group discussion. The training is designed specifically for people working in the sector and is excellent value for money. All of our courses are also available on a bespoke basis at a time and place that best suits you.

NICVA members can benefit from 30% reduction in all our course fees – saving you up to £300!  You can find out more about becoming a NICVA member here.
