NICVA staff and Executive Committee are delighted once again to receive the Investors in People Gold Award in September 2015 having first achieved the Gold Standard in July 2012.

Organisations that meet the world-recognised Investors in People Standard reflect the very best in people management excellence. NICVA has been described as “an exemplary organisation in terms of stakeholders’ engagement and involvement in the development of business strategy”.  The report goes on to recognise that “NICVA has provided strong leadership for the sector raising awareness of the value which the sector brings to the NI economy”.

NICVA Chief Executive, Seamus McAleavey commented

"We are absolutely delighted to receive the IIP Gold Award for the second time. NICVA focuses on continuous improvement and our services are entirely dependent for their quality on the ability of our staff. That is why we invest in our people and we have got exceptional quality in return. For that I thank all of our staff for this Gold Award”.

The feedback report notes that “NICVA is certainly a unique place to work and there is an excellent attitude to work life balance. This has helped create and maintain a passionate and committed workforce which is reflected in very low sickness levels and in the achievement of its strategic goals”.
