Programme for Government 2016-2021 consultation hub

The Programme for Government (PFG) sets the strategic context for both the Budget and the Investment Strategy for Northern Ireland.

The Draft Programme for Government Framework was published for consultation in June and closed on 22nd July after being agreed by the Executive on 26th May 2016.

NICVA held three conferences and seminars focusing on the Programme for Government. The first was held in September 2015 titled Preparing for the 2016 Programme for Government; the second was held in April 2016 and focused on the Budget Process and the Programme for Government; and the third was held in June 2016 and focused on the Draft Programme for Government Framework consultation.

Joe Reynolds, Head of the Programme for Government in The Executive Office, provided the following consultation timeline with a finalised Programme for Government by December 2016:

In order to inform your organisation's responses to future Programme for Government consultations and to understand what the sector and other stakeholders are arguing for, NICVA has created this Programme for Government consultation hub. If you would like your organisation's response to feature on the hub, please send it to [email protected]. The hub will be updated regularly.
