Stephen Donnelly from the International Red Cross presents a webinar on COVID 19 Protection and Prevention.

Stephen presents an overview of what is currently known about the Corona virus, its affects and how it is spread and transmitted. He then goes through the steps of a practical risk assessment and the various controls to reduce risk. The session is designed to be a practical as possible for volunteers in the community.  The session last between 60 and 90 minutes depending on discussion and questions. It has been devised it for the community organisations we support who are now engaging in humanitarian response in their communities – delivering food parcels to self-isolating and cocooning households, telephone /Good Morning networks, accepting and dispersing food donations, providing benefits advice etc.  There are two sessions scheduled for next week and they are on Zoom:   Wednesday 08 April 10:30 – 12:00 Thursday 09 April 14:00 – 15:30  If you are interested in attending one of these webinars please send your name, email address and date of webinar to Winnie at NICVA[email protected]
