NICVA are pleased to announce that they will be providing free research training to the voluntary and community sector. If you would like to avail of this opportunity for organisations you support, then please get in touch.

This training is delivered at an introductory level and will include information on research design, research methods (questionnaires, interviews and focus groups), sampling and ethics. Training sessions will last approximately 1 ½ hours.

Training sessions are solely for organisations who have members and are based outside of Belfast. Organisations must have 6 or more staff or volunteers that require research training to avail of these sessions. Please note, this training is aimed at those with little or no research knowledge and not suitable for those with advanced knowledge or experience.

Places are limited so please contact NICVA’s Research Officer Dr Helena Mc Elhinney ([email protected]) to book your place.
