Researchers at Queen’s University Belfast seek minority ethnic & migrant community representatives to join focus groups

Researchers at Queen's University Belfast will be holding a series of online focus groups for staff and representatives of community organisations as part of a project on the experiences of education among minority ethnic groups in NI.

Funded by the Nuffield Foundation, the focus groups will explore perspectives on educational provision for children and families from minority ethnic and migrant backgrounds, and the range of factors that shape their experiences. This will form the first part of the study, which will also include interviews with parents, children, and educational stakeholders.

Focus groups will take place on the dates below, via MS Teams.

  • Friday 11th February - 11am
  • Wednesday 23rd February - 7pm
  • Friday 25th February - 2pm
  • Thursday 3rd March - 3pm

If you would like to take part, or wish to know more about the project, please contact Dr Rebecca Loader ([email protected]) for further information.
