UK Government publishes a future partnership paper on collaboration in science and innovation

The UK Government has released its future partnership paper setting out its perspective on collaboration in science and innovation.

The paper commits to build, 'a new, deep and special partnership with the European Union' and covers the following areas:

  • The UK’s ambition for the future partnership with the EU
  • Collaboration through EU and European Atomic Energy Community (Euratom) programmes
  • Research and Innovation (R&I) Framework Programmes
  • The space programmes
  • Nuclear R&D
  • Membership of EU science and innovation agencies and other bodies
  • Facilitating bilateral and multilateral collaboration
