W@ve 2.0 project seeking participants

26 Mar 2012     Last updated: 20 Jun 2014

As part of NICVA's involvement with Reaching Out: Connecting Older People, we're glad to share news from EGSA, who are looking for participants for the pilot programme of W@ve 2.0.

EGSA is a partner in the W@ve 2.0 EU Lifelong Learning Programme funded project which aims to enhance the lives of older people (55+) through the effective use of Web 2.0 technologies.

The programme focuses on their individual, social and personal needs. We are currently developing tutor and learner resources for the delivery of the project to older people's groups.  Later this year we will be piloting these resources to fifty older people.

If you would like to be involved in the pilot, contact Kevin Donaghy on T: 028 9024 4274 or E: [email protected]. Find out more about the project on the W@ve 2.0 website.
